I had a wonderful experience at Casa Colonial, with its beautiful colonial architecture and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, though a bit noisy at times due to their layout. The breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely rooftop setting. The location is perfect for exploring Mindelo, but the noise from the courtyard could be a drawback for light sleepers.
